Stonington — The Westerly Water Department informed Pawcatuck residents Wednesday that they no longer have to boil their water, as testing has shown there is no bacteria in it.
Customers had been advised to boil their water after a water main break prompted concerns about possible bacterial contamination. The main has now been repaired.
