New London — Gary Storm of New York was working in the water Wednesday while looking for objects with a metal detector at Ocean Beach Park.

"It´s way more fun doing this in the water than out," he said. 

So far, the only thing he had found was beer cans.  "Not too exciting but at least I get to help the environment a little" he said.
