Chamber sponsoring St. Patrick's Day discussion of Irish heritage
In celebration of St. Patrick's Day and Irish Heritage Month, four men from the region will recall their Irish upbringings Wednesday in a live Facebook discussion.
Tony Sheridan, president and chief executive officer of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut; John O'Shaughnessy, general manager of The Spa at Norwich Inn; Paul Nugent, a Pfizer Inc. executive; and Leo Roche of the Harp and Hound pub in Mystic, will share stories of their experiences in Ireland and the journeys that brought them to America.
Members of the public are invited to join the discussion from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday on the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut's Facebook page, facebook.com/chamberect.
