Sen. Somers to host Earth Day cleanup on Saturday

Groton — State Sen. Heather Somers is inviting area residents to join her on Saturday morning for an Earth Day cleanup event at Bluff Point State Park.

The event runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Participants should bring gloves and garbage bags, and are asked to meet up at the park entrance parking lot at 10:30 a.m. Bluff Point State Park is located at 55 Depot Road in Groton.
