As part of the American Rescue Plan, the Biden administration temporarily is increasing the child tax credit, which totaled $2,000 per child last year.
Income-eligible families can now receive $3,600 annually per child under age 6 and $3,000 per child ages 6 to 17, with payments coming monthly through 2021.
The Day is interested in talking to parents who will see a substantial impact from this increase, about what the extra money means to them and what they will do with it. If you're interested in sharing, please fill out the form below or email reporter Erica Moser at e.moser@theday.com.
