Pup has a beach day with grandpa in Waterford

Waterford — Bill Turnier of Waterford was throwing a toy stick for Malcolm, an 8-month-old puppy, Tuesday at Seaside State Park.

Malcolm belongs to Turnier's son but Turnier frequently watches him during the weekdays.

"I'm the puppy grandfather," he laughed, "and on a hot day like this one, coming to the beach was the only thing we could do."
