Vietnam veterans to be honored in Wednesday ceremony in Norwich

Norwich — State and city leaders will honor Vietnam veterans of Norwich in a 1 p.m. ceremony Wednesday in Mohegan Park.

Mayor Peter Nystrom, Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz and state Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner Thomas Saadi will honor Norwich veterans in the ceremony and lunch for participants at the open pavilion on Mohegan Park Road in Mohegan Park.

The ceremony is free and open to the public.
