Vietnam War veterans honored in Norwich

Norwich — A ceremony at the Mohegan Park Pavilion on Wednesday honored local Vietnam War veterans.
The event was hosted by Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, state Veterans Affairs Commissioner Joseph Danao, Norwich Mayor Peter Nystrom, state Rep. Kevin Ryan, and state Sen. Cathy Osten.
Each veteran in attendance was presented with a pin and certificate recognizing them for their service.
