    Marching band starts its season with camp in Groton

    Groton — The Fitch High School marching band has officially started its season Wednesday — at band camp.

    During the camp, the musicians learn the music, drills and visuals for their performance. 

    They will gather 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday. Next week they will return to band camp on Monday and continue through Saturday, when they will end with a performance for their families.
