Poetry in a Pandemic: The spooktacular Halloween
Kids can’t wait for Halloween,
Hoping for a fun and normal routine,
Tricking or treating?
No one knows and
That is intriguing!
From super hero costumes to fairy ones,
Parents are going house to house
With their daughters and sons,
Excitements and surprises in every corner,
Fun and scary decorations,
Jack-o’-lantern and animated transformers,
Kids looking forward
To receiving different kinds of treats,
Can’t wait to try the salty, sour and sweets,
Kids’ faces are filled with joy and scare,
Looking forward to dare and to share!
Happy Halloween Everyone!
