In The Galleries: Celebrate the holidays with Noank exhibit
Village Art Space in Noank has gathered work from New England artists and artisans for their gift themed holiday exhibit, “Nauti Oar Nice.” It runs through Jan. 9.
The exhibit features both new artists and returning favorites. The work is eclectic, including: candles, paintings, illustrations, ceramics, wood turning, jewelry, kiln fired glass, art tiles, whimsical animal sculptures and more.
“Our goal is to fill the space with locally made treasures large and small for visitors to discover,” said Mary Anne Sherman, gallery co owner.
Village Art Space is at 52 Main St. in Noank. Hours are generally Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and by appointment.
