Local author D.M. Foley publishes first novel
In her first published novel, D.M. Foley explores the possible unintended consequences of an adoptee finding her biological family. The first in a series, “The Lyons Garden Book One Family Ties” was released in September and is available in eBook, paperback and hardcover through Amazon. Four area businesses are also carrying copies: The Primitive Crow in Bozrah, The Roseledge Farm Shop in Preston, Everly After in Baltic and Small Potatoes Gifts and Crafts in Norwich.
The author will be signing her books at The Christmas Shopping Expo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Groton Inn and Suites.
Set in southeastern Connecticut and Long Island, N.Y., the novel introduces readers to Jessica Greenhall, a 25-year-old successful nature photographer who is searching for her biological parents after tragically losing her adoptive parents.
D.M. Foley is a former paraeducator, a mother of three, and a wife of 27 years. She grew up in Bozrah and attended Fields Memorial School. Her high school years were spent at Norwich Regional Vocational Technical School.
She currently lives in southeastern Connecticut.
