Poetry in a Pandemic: It is time for Christmas!
It is time for Christmas
It is the end of 2021!
What a year!
Christmas is finally here,
A joyous time!
Bringing
Pine trees and smiles,
Sparkling wine and dine,
Snow and crystalline,
Spreading
Light, color, beauty and shine,
Love, laughter and sing along,
Gathering
Families and friends in harmony
From east, west and the coastline,
It is a time
To celebrate and appreciate
Life, love, kindness and compassion
For one another,
And to be grateful for everyone
And everything we have
In our lives,
Not to take anything for granted and
That is the bottom line!
It is a time
To help and to give back
To those in need and to
Always keep them in our minds,
It is a time
To motivate and inspire
Ourselves and others,
And a time to redefine and redesign
Our goals and purpose,
To better Ourselves and the World
By working together toward
Harmony, unity, peace and prosperity and
Goodwill for all mankind!
Merry Christmas everyone!
