In the Galleries: Two January exhibits at Lyme Art Association
Lyme Art Association’s “First Impressions” exhibition is a juried exhibition of the Association’s Associate Artist members, accomplished artists who have been successfully exhibiting in selective shows.
This exhibit will include a variety of media and themes: landscape, portrait and still life paintings, as well as sculpture. In addition, the three new Elected Artists who were inducted in October will present their work in the Goodman gallery. This year Sara Drought Nebel, Rick Daskam, and Matthew Schwager joined the ranks of Lyme Art Association Elected Artists. Both exhibits run from Jan. 14 through Feb. 24.
Both exhibitions are on view at 90 Lyme St., Old Lyme. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and by appointment.
