Tell us about being a substitute teacher
The Day is writing a story about the job market and working conditions for substitute teachers. We are looking for substitute teachers in southeastern Connecticut to tell their stories about what the job entails and what it's been like teaching, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We will be looking at the shortages that school districts in the region are facing and why, and the incentives school districts are offering for substitutes.
If you are a substitute teacher interested in sharing your story with The Day, please contact Day Staff Writer Kimberly Drelich at k.drelich@theday.com.
