Rep. Howard to host fair about jobs and education in the trades
North Stonington - State Rep. Greg Howard, R-43rd District, will host a Stonington and North Stonington Trade Fair, to celebrate local industry and vocational education, on Sunday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Stonington Education Center, 298 Norwich-Westerly Road.
The event will highlight non-traditional secondary and post-secondary educational paths as well as the area businesses that will hire directly from such programs. Businesses and learning institutions are invited to offer their trades and programs to middle and secondary school-aged students and their families. The public is invited to the free event to learn about the local job and educational opportunities.
