Let's Go: Anne Frank and the recent cold case investigation

Professor Rolf Wolfswinkel will speak on Anne Frank and the recent cold case investigation at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 15 at the Lyme Public Hall.

The outcome of the recent cold case investigation into the betrayal of the Frank family in 1944 has caused much discussion worldwide. Do the results warrant all the consternation or is it a rehashing of old theories and long-established knowledge? In his presentation, professor Wolfswinkel will look at what is held up as a “breakthrough” in the matter of the betrayal and discuss whether earlier theories have now become obsolete.

Born in Amsterdam, Wolfswinkel taught Modern History at New York University and at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Together with Dick van Galen Last, he published “Anne Frank and After.” He now lives in Lyme.

The presentation is free and open to the public. The Lyme Public Hall is located at 249 Hamburg Road (Route 156) in Lyme. For more information visit lymepublichall.org.
