Truck crash delays delivery of The Day print edition

Subscribers to The Day's print edition received their newspapers late Tuesday, or will receive Tuesday's edition along with Wednesday's, due to an accident involving a delivery truck, according to Peter Ingoglia, customer service manager.

The truck delivering papers from the printer in Providence was involved in a serious accident while on its way to Uncasville, and a replacement truck was late getting papers to The Day's carriers. No further information was immediately available.
