Leif Nilsson’s Spring Street Gallery in Chester presents John Brown and the BackPorch Pickers as part of its Concert in the Garden series at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 30.

John Brown & the BackPorch Pickers is a Connecticut-based country rock band that entertains audiences at numerous venues since 2019. With a well-blended mix of traditional country, classic rock and heartfelt originals, this band brings the best of those timeless genres to you. In its current iteration the band features frontman and singer-songwriter John Brown, a Connecticut native from Ivoryton, as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist.

While most of their public performances include a mix of cover tunes and original compositions, John Brown & the BackPorch Pickers are also available to perform all-original shows, and have performed on local access television.

The show is for a $20 donation - BYOB and picnic. The venue features bistro style seating in the amphitheatre. Gates open a half hour before the show. First come first seated.
