    First day for the freshman

    Freshmen at Norwich Free Academy have their ID photos taken by photographers from Legacy Studios as they go through various stations on their first day of school Monday, August 29, 2022.     Norwich― For the members of the Norwich Free Academy Class of 2026 the campus was all theirs for the first day of school Monday.

    The nearly 500 members of the class arrived a day before their fellow students for a series of activities, from ID card photos to NFA Wildcat t-shirt distribution, bonding exercises and a class photo on the football field.

    The remainder of the student body starts school on Tuesday.
