Franklin Square, circa the mid-1960s. Before the malls basically shut down the retail in downtown Norwich, this was a typical busy and vibrant daily scene. Shoppers were well dressed and the streets were clean.

Note the Sears sign, on the top of the building it was located in. It shared the building with the Midtown Theater.
