Churches gather for CommUnity Revival event
New London ― Community Street Ministry, comprised of more than 10 churches in Southeastern Connecticut, will hold its first community event, CommUnity Revival, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Williams Park on Saturday.
The event will offer community resources, prayer, speakers, music and more. Free clothing and food and refreshments will be available.
The churches in the ministry include The Church on Bank Street, Victory Church, Shiloh New London Church, Engaging Heaven, St. John’s Church, Third House of Prayer and New Life Church.
Stepane Brower, one of the event’s organizers, said the event is to introduce the ministry to the community.
“Our motto is for people to know that Jesus cures them WHOLLY: mind, body and spirit,” Brower said.
