Make A Difference: Always Home
WHO: A family of four.
AGENCY: Always Home, Inc., an agency focused on preventing family homelessness since 1998.
THEIR SITUATION: For the past year and a half, this mother, father and their two boys have lived in a motel. Even with both parents employed, rental costs keep rising and the cost of securing a new apartment (equivalent of 3 months of rent) is beyond their monthly budget. The family hopes to stay in New London where both children attend school and where there is access to public transportation.
WHAT TO GIVE: A monetary donation to Always Home will help provide the family with a security deposit and short-term rental assistance.
