Pirate Days coming to seaport
Mystic— Mystic Seaport Museum has announced it will host its annual Pirate Days event April 11 and 12.
The event boasts activities for all ages including theatrical and musical performances, games, crafts, a pirate adventure course, cannon firing drill and an opportunity to dig for buried treasure, all included in the admission price.
Visitors are encouraged to dress in costume and join the pirate parade.
Additional add-on activities include a treasure hunt with a kit including map and compass. Treasure hunters will follow the map clues to get a prize. Kits are $8, or free to members. The planetarium will offer a pirate themed “High Seas” show for $8 or $5 for members.
Tickets are available on the website at mysticseaport.org, and individuals can use code AHOYMATEY to purchase a membership valid through April 30, 2024.
