Sally Rogers plays ‘Friday Night Folk’ in New London

Folk singer Sally Rogers headlines Friday’s season finale “Friday Night Folk” concert in Unity Hall at New London’s All Souls Unitarian Universalist Congregation.

A popular touring artist since 1979 – and perhaps most familiar to audiences from her serial appearances on “Prairie Home Companion” – Rogers is renowned for her cheery stage charisma and ability to draw even the most reluctant listener into feel-good singalongs.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. at the 19 Jay St. church in New London. Tickets are $17 in advance, $20 at the door, $10 for students and active military with ID; www.fridaynightfolk.org, (860) 443-0316.
