East Lyme ― The town’s annual Memorial Day Parade will be held Monday at 2 p.m.

Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 1:30 p.m. until approximately 3 p.m. The parade route will begin at Columbus Avenue and end at Town Hall on Pennsylvania Avenue. Once the parade begins, Pennsylvania Avenue from Town Hall to the intersection of Main Street will then be closed to vehicles.

There will be no parking on Main Street between Columbus Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, Columbus Avenue and Haigh Avenue from noon until the conclusion of the parade.

Police have cautioned drivers to expect delays and seek alternate routes during the parade.
