New London ― Domnick Marini took advantage of a summer-like day Wednesday after getting out of work early. Marini said he finished work early, grabbed his lawn chair and went to Green Harbor Beach to take advantage of the nice weather.

The National Weather Service forecast for Thursday is patchy fog before 9 a.m. followed by partly sunny skies, with a high near 72.
