    40 years of the Friday fish fry in Stonington

    Stonington ― The Portuguese Holy Ghost Society Fish Fry was a popular place to have lunch Friday. The Fish Fry runs on Fridays for eight weeks before Easter. It ends on Good Friday.

    The dinner runs from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The menu includes cod, scallops, shrimp. french fries, bread, cole slaw and clam chowder.

    The Portuguese Holy Ghost Society also hosts an eight-week fall Fish Fry that ends on the Friday before Thanksgiving.
