Twin River exec faces child porn charge

Providence, R.I. (AP) — An executive at a Rhode Island slot parlor has been arrested and charged with possessing child pornography after police say someone discovered the images on his work computer.

WPRI-TV reports that Twin River's vice president of finance, Suneet Talpade, was arrested Monday.

Lt. Brian Casilli tells the station the photos were discovered at the slot parlor in Lincoln.

The 51-year-old Talpade lives in Wallingford, Conn. A telephone message left by The Associated Press at a listing in his name was not immediately returned.

Talpade was released on $10,000 personal recognizance Monday. He was ordered to have no contact with children and to stay off the Internet except for work.

A Twin River spokeswoman tells the AP it is cooperating and has suspended the employee without pay during the investigation.
