    Harvard Pilgrim names Connecticut VP

    Mark A. Jardin

    Mark A. Jardin has been named Harvard Pilgrim Health Care's vice president for Connecticut.

    Formerly of Aetna, Jardin held many roles there, including managing director for the Middle East and Africa. After leaving Aetna, Jardin became a health care consultant. He most recently was with UST Global, serving as a vice president of sales and operations.

    Currently living in Avon, Jardin graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, earning a bachelor's degree in business management and political science.

    Harvard Pilgrim Health Care is a not-for-profit health services company that recently moved into Connecticut. It serves more than a million members in New England.
