Her situation: Peggy had been living outdoors but recently got an apartment with HHC's help. She was elated to be able to pay her first month's rent on Monday. She is 55.
What to give: Peggy is setting up her apartment from scratch. She needs a microwave, coffee pot, towels, kitchen utensils, flatware, cleaning supplies, a broom, mop, shower curtain – just about everything you can imagine.
