Agency: Homeless Hospitality Center, New London
Her situation: A friend who was going to help Denise with expenses reneged on the promise. She has been at the shelter since August and just got an apartment with the center's help.
What to give: Denise would love a crock pot, a set of dishes, nice kitchen towels and toiletries like shampoo. She'd also appreciate cleaning supplies, glasses and pots and pans — just about everything you'd need to set up a home.
