EMPLOYMENT

Amanda Ljubicic has been appointed Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT. In her most recent role as Vice President of Strategy and Implementation at Mitchell College, she developed the Integrative Career Development program, which aligns local businesses and organizational needs with college-wide initiatives and student career.

Ljubicic holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Connecticut. She began her career in marketing and project management at MBI, Inc., followed by a similar role at Affinion Group in Norwalk. A Master of Science in Community Counseling led her to Mitchell College as Assistant Director of Career Services. She soon became Director of the Career Center and, a few years later, was promoted to the senior administrative team. She is a 2017 graduate of the Chamber’s Leadership Program. 

Carolyn Welch has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Manager at Chelsea Groton Bank. She joined the bank in 2016 as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. She graduated from Niagara University. Welch lives in Wallingford. For more information, visit www.chelseagroton.com.
