APPOINTMENT

Josette A. Hill of Portland has been appointed Treasurer of the Southeastern Connecticut Chapter of SCORE, a nationwide, nonprofit association and resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration that offers free advice to small-business owners. The appointment to the volunteer position was announced by Frank LaMonaca, president of the chapter, based in Old Saybrook, with locations in Essex, Guilford, Madison, Middletown, Mystic, New London, Norwich, and Waterford. Hill will be responsible for fiscal control and reporting, accounting and finance, risk management, and tax reporting.
