Laurie and Jonathan Elwell of Richmond, Va. are happy to announce the birth of their son, Nolan Jonathan Elwell, on Aug. 24, 2012, 6:59 p.m. at Memorial Regional Medical Center.

Nolan weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 19.25 inches long.

Proud grandparents are Stephen and Anne I. Libby of East Lyme and Jill Elwell of Old Lyme. Nolan is also the grandson of the late David Elwell.

Nolan joins big sister, Natalie, age two.
