Nicole Marie Retano to Wed Michael Robert Saren

Nicole Marie Retano, the daughter of Karen and Paul Retano of Old Saybrook, is engaged to wed Michael Robert Saren, the son of Robert and Sandra Saren of Southbury.

The future bride graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and criminology. She is a direct support professional for the SARAH Foundation in Westbrook.

The future groom graduated from Pomperaug High School in Southbury. He is a licensed service technician for J.J. Sullivan in Guilford.

A July 2014 wedding is planned.
