Michael Nicholas Sarno, Jr., to Wed Cherie Ann Harper

Michael Nicholas Sarno, Jr., the son of Michael and Robin Sarno of East Haven, is engaged to wed Cherie Ann Harper, the daughter of Ronald Harper, Jr., of West Haven and the late Lorie Bunnell. Grandparents of the future groom are Jeri Avery and Michael and Lucille Sarno. Grandparents of the future bride are Ronald Harper and the late Clara Harper.

The future groom is employed at Yale University in Dining Services.

The future bride is a nursing assistant at Masonicare in Wallingford. She will be receiving her master’s degree in public health this spring from Kaplan University.

An Aug. 31 wedding is planned.
