Mystic Veterans of Foreign Wars to host pasta benefit dinner

Mystic — The Mystic Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3263 will host a pasta benefit dinner for the family of Lauren J. Penley Haskins, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.

Haskins, an Army veteran of Kosovo, Korea and Afghanistan, was a lifetime member of the post. The local band, the Sharks, will perform and there will also be raffle. Contact Theresa Hersh at (860) 867-7227 or the Mystic VFW at (860) 536-3682 for tickets. Tickets, which are $10 for adults and $5 for children, will be available at the door.
