Three people with local ties graduated recently from military training.

Army National Guard Pvt. Tyler A. Zelenski graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. Zelenski, the son of Lynda Zelenski and stepson of Dan Kalinoski, of Ledyard, and the grandson of Carolee Case, of Groton, is a 2012 graduate of New London High School.

Air Force Airman Philip S. Williams graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas. Williams, the son of Don and Lynn Williams of Groton, is a 2009 graduate of Robert E. Fitch Senior High School.

Air Force Reserve Airman Patrick S. Tabor graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. Tabor, the son of Henry and Bozenna Tabor of Griswold, is a 1999 graduate of the Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical High School.
