Branch 20 of Fleet Reserve Association announces October events

Groton — Branch 20 of the Fleet Reserve Association has planned several events for October.

The Board of Directors will meet at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1. The Board of Governors will meet at 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 7. A membership meeting will be held for the Unit at 6 p.m. and the Branch at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 17.

A steak dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. and at 7 p.m. on Friday,

Oct. 4 for $15. Reservations are required by Monday, Sept. 30. A cleanup of Gungywump Road will take place at 8 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 26 and the Auxiliary Children’s Halloween Party will take place on Sunday, Oct. 27.

All activities take place at the Branch home, 242 Thames St.
