City council candidates to hold meet-and-greet

New London — Two City Council candidates are holding a “moms and kids meet-and-greet” 6-8 p.m. Monday at Rita’s icecream store, 361 Colman St.

Councilor Marie Friess-McSparran, a Democrat who is running for re-election on the Republican ticket, and Katelin Teel, a Republican seeking her first term, will be available to meet with residents. Children are welcome.
