Christopher Faison says he hasn't been in Norwich for the Christmas season in a decade. He's returning this year, though, on a break from performing in the national tour of "The Book of Mormon."

And he's going to be presenting a concert titled "This Christmas" Tuesday at his alma mater - Norwich Free Academy. He will sing holiday songs, with pianist Dan Brandl providing accompaniment.

Faison, who has been touring as a member of the "Book of Mormon" ensemble since April 2013, graduated from NFA in 1996.

The concert here, he says, "is my chance to say thank you to the city of Norwich, who have been supporters and fans since the beginning of my career."

Toward that end, he isn't charging concert-goers but is accepting donations, and he'll give part of that to a local charity to be determined.
