As befitting their status as one of the biggest names in popular music — no, not just country — Little Big Town is tonight's New Year's Eve entertainment at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

Since their 1998 inception, the harmony-happy band has included the same four members — Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Roads, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet — and their success and experiences have only refined a polished style that sews together retro country with postmodern pop.

Their latest album, "Pain Killer," featured hit singles "Day Drinking" and "Girl Crush," and LBT was nominated for five 2015 Country Music Awards trophies as well as a Grammy for Best Country Album.
