Goodspeed's 2019 shows include 'Music Man,' 'Billy Elliot'
Goodspeed Musicals has announced the 2019 shows set for both its Opera House and its Terris Theatre in Chester.
The Opera House productions are:
"The Music Man," April 12-June 16; with book, music and lyrics by Meredith Willson and story by Willson and Franklin Lacey
"Because of Winn Dixie," June 28-Sept. 1; with book and lyrics by Nell Benjamin, music by Duncan Sheik, based on original book by Kate DiCamill
"Billy Elliot The Musical," Sept. 13-Nov. 24; with book and lyrics by Lee Hall, music by Elton John
The Terris Theatre musicals are:
"My Name Is Ben," May 17-June 9; with book and lyrics by Scott Gilmour, music by Claire McKenzie
"Passing Through," July 26-Aug. 28; with music and lyrics by Brett Ryback, book by Eric Ulloa
Season tickets for all three mainstage shows start at $99, and a two-show package for The Terris Theatre is $88. Call (860) 873-8668 daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Single tickets go on public sale starting Feb. 17.
