Of course, fans have seen Joey McIntyre at the Mohegan Sun before. New Kids on the Block, which includes McIntyre is its lineup, have performed in the arena numerous times.

When McIntyre comes to the Sun this week, it will be in a solo performance, right before he brings that same show to Carnegie Hall for a sold-out gig.

He’ll perform in the Sun’s Cabaret Theatre, which is a great venue to see any act — small, with 400 seats, and with great acoustics and sightlines.

McIntyre co-wrote several songs (including “Block Party” and “Still Sounds Good”) on the newer NKOTB albums. He has done solo music in addition to his NKOTB releases, and he has acted on Broadway, in “Wicked” and “Waitress.”
