Coast Guard Band present a concert of vocal music

Let there be voices!

The U.S. Coast Guard Band’s Sunday concert focuses on vocal music, whether those works are from Broadway or opera or movies.

Highlighted in the concert are two singers: Musician 1st Class Ryan Connelly from the U.S. Navy Band, and Musician 1st Class Allison Landstedt from the Coast Guard Band.

On the lyrical program: duets from the musical “Jekyll & Hyde,” arias by Mozart and Puccini, and a medley of Disney tunes.

In addition, saxophonist Chief Musician Greg Case will be the featured soloist in selections from “Solace: A Lyric Concerto.”
