Reporter Judy Benson stopped by to talk about the story she broke regarding the wastewater discharge discovered on the U.S. Coast Guard Academy campus that had been spilling into the Thames River for about 20 years.

On Friday, April 21, The Day co-hosted a photo exhibit of maritime photos by staff photographers. Sean Elliot, director of photographly spoke with us to give a brief preview of the show.

And finally, reporter Amanda Hutchinson gave us some background on her story about Lonnie Bailey, an Oklahoma rancher with connections to southeastern Connecticut, who suffered property damage during the recent wildfires ravaging parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas and Colorado.
