Frances Ann "Frenchy" Dacunzo Amore, 91, of Hamden, formerly of North Haven, died Dec. 6 at The Alzheimer's Resource Center in Plantsville. She was the wife of the late Vincent A. Amore. She was born in New Haven on

June 10, 1918, daughter of the late Vincent and Frances Travisano Dacunzo. She had lived in North Haven from 1958 to 1998 and moved to Hamden in 1998. She had worked for 52 years for Vincent Amore and Company (CPAs) as office manager/bookkeeper until her retirement in 2001. She was a member of the San Catello Society and the North Haven Senior Center.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John R. and Martha Amore of Cheshire; three grandchildren, Monica L., Candice M., and Lisa D. Amore, all of Cheshire; a brother, Anthony J.

Dacunzo and his wife Jean of Dallas, Georgia; a sister, Anna Marie Silvestro of East Haven; four loving brothers-in-law; and 18 nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Betty and Arlene Amore, to whom the family extends a special thank you for the loving care they gave to Frenchy.

A funeral procession was held from the North Haven Funeral Home on Dec. 10, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Barnabas Church. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery.
