Mary P. Richo, 96, of Madison, died Nov. 9 at the Connecticut Hospice. She was the wife of the late Frank V. Richo. She was born in New Haven on Feb. 22, 1914, daughter of the late Gabriele and Maria (DiBianco) Amato.

She is survived by a son, Dr. Frank R. Richo and his wife Elizabeth (Barbarito) of Madison; a daughter, Marilyn A. Coffey of Stratford; five grandchildren, Dr. Gary R. Richo, Gregory F. Richo, Andrea R. Secchiaroli, Meredith C. Conrad, and Christopher J. Coffey; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Andrew and Anthony Amato, and a sister, Amalia Repoley.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a funeral mass at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, at St. Margaret Catholic Church, 24 Academy St., Madison. Burial will follow in West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to the Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405. The Swan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
