Perlene M. Thompson, 81, of Giles Ave., North Haven, died April 1 at the Village Green of Wallingford. She was the beloved wife of Donald Thompson. Perlene was born in Groton, Vermont, on Oct. 25, 1930, daughter of the late Francis and Mary Dubois Bourtelle.  Perlene had worked as an employee of the Circuitwise Corporation for many years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one child, Dale Thompson of North Haven; a sister, Mary Lamonte of Lyndonville, Vermont; and a brother, Francis Williams of West Burke, Vermont. She was predeceased by three brothers, Walter, Ernest, and Calvin Bourtelle.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601-7633. The North Haven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
